COUNTRY: France
REGION: Auvergne
Claire and Edoardo met while working in the vineyards of Burgundy. They started making their own wines at a particularly high elevation, 5 hectare plot in the village of Chalus, overlooking the valley of Boudes in South Auvergne. The vines are predominantly planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay, and some Syrah.
In 2023, faced with a difficult year, they chose to turn an obstacle into an opportunity, deciding to work with organically grown grapes from Auvergne and other regions, in order to create new wines and continue the journey of their estate. This choice allowed them to continue winemaking despite an insufficient harvest from their own vineyards, while exploring new expressions that remain true to their values: commitment, respect for living things, and creative freedom.
