Sassara Vini is located in the South part of Lake Garda, where, millions of year ago, the glaciers made the Grada lake and created a natural barrier of debris rich in many different minerals. Sassara’s 12 hectares of vineyards take root on these moranic hills, which are protected by Lake Garda. The vineyards were planted 50 years ago, but the estate belongs to a winemaking family that has been working for over three generations. Nowadays, Stefano and Alessia run this natural project. In 2007, they converted the vineyard to biodynamic production. They grow traditional grapes that reflect the nature of the terroir: Garganega, Trebbiano, Trebbianello, Moscato, Fernanda, Corvina, Corvinone Rondinella Rossanella.

Sassara is certified biodynamic by AGRIBIO and certified organic by ICEA.
